Senior Application Support Engineer

Job description5-10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years working in an application support or production support environment Background in Linux systems with proficiency in Bash scripts and familiarity with Automation using Bash / Shell scripting Knowledge of writing SQL queries for application maintenance and application troubleshooting Capability to understand and navigate complex and changing technical solutions Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle issues effectively and prioritize tasks High level of self-motivation, drive, and resilience with a commitment to professional excellence Flexibility to reschedule tasks or adapt to changes in dynamic environments Competency in working collaboratively across teams and technical domains Strong communication skills in English (B2 level or higher), both written and verbal, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of our e-commerce platform in the pharmaceutical industry, meeting service level agreements and maintaining seamless application operations within a distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Keep business-critical applications operational in line with service level agreements
- Proactively lead actions toward resolving issues and ensuring final solutions are implemented
- Conduct Application Support maintenance to meet application availability requirements
- Foster and maintain effective communication and strong relationships with the customer
- Analyze incoming requests and issues to determine optimal solutions and actions
- Collaborate effectively across various technology services to troubleshoot and resolve incidents
- Adapt to evolving priorities and ensure timely responses to changing requirements
