Job Description – 3D Modeler / Visualization Specialist (Contract)

Role Overview We are seeking talented 3D Modelers / Visualization Specialists with experience in CAD / BIM conversion, 3D modeling, and visualization for real-time and immersive environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing factory layouts, equipment, and environment assets , ensuring they are ready for Omniverse-based real-time rendering and physics simulation .
Key Responsibilities
- Convert CAD / BIM models (Revit, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) into USD / OpenUSD formats for Omniverse workflows.
- Create and optimize 3D models for industrial layouts, equipment, and environments.
- Ensure geometry, textures, and lighting are optimized for real-time rendering .
- Prepare assets for VR / AR applications with focus on performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to maintain accuracy and realism in assets.
- Implement texture optimization, LODs (Level of Detail), and lighting setups for interactive experiences.
- Ensure consistency and compliance with modelling standards and project requirements.
Skills & Expertise Required
Proficiency in CAD / BIM tools : Revit, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.Strong expertise in 3D modelling and visualization software : Blender, Maya, 3ds Max.Experience with USD / Open USD workflows and real-time rendering pipelines.Hands-on knowledge of texture optimization, lighting, and rendering techniques .Familiarity with VR / AR content creation and performance optimization for immersive environments.Understanding of physics simulation-ready assets and interoperability in Omniverse.Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.Good to Have (Optional)
Exposure to game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) for interactive visualization.Knowledge of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials.Experience with scripting / automation in Python or MaxScript for asset workflows.Why Join Us?
