Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer – Robotics Electronics with strong expertise in PCB design tools, motor driver circuits, and processor-based PCB design including BGA layouts. The candidate will design, develop, and validate electronic hardware for robotics and automation systems, working closely with embedded software, sensors, and power electronics teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Design & Development
- Design and develop analog and digital circuits for robotics and embedded systems.
- Create schematics and PCB layouts using professional PCB design tools, ensuring design reliability and manufacturability.
- Design motor driver circuits for various actuators (DC motors, stepper motors, BLDC motors).
- Develop processor-based PCB designs, including BGA / complex package layouts, peripheral integration, power supply, and communication interfaces.
- Select the robotics components for the required specifications.
- Select and evaluate components based on electrical performance, thermal considerations, and availability.
Testing & Validation
Perform hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging for prototypes.Validate motor control, communication, and processor functionalities.Collaborate with firmware teams for hardware-software integration and troubleshooting.Conduct signal integrity, EMI / EMC, and environmental testing as required.Documentation & Support
Prepare and maintain detailed design documents, BOMs, test reports, and version control records.Support production, QA, and integration teams during testing and validation.Collaboration
Work closely with mechanical, firmware, and system integration teams.Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners for component sourcing, PCB fabrication, and assembly support.Required Skills & Qualifications :
B.E / B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.3–4 years of experience in hardware design for robotics or embedded systems.Proficient in PCB design tools (schematics and layout).Strong experience in motor driver circuit design and integration.Experience in processor-based PCB design, including BGA / complex package layouts, peripheral interfacing, and communication protocols (CAN, RS485, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet).Hands-on debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.Understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.Preferred Skills :
Experience with robotics or automation hardware design.Knowledge of EMI / EMC design practices and safety standards.Exposure to sensor interfacing, power electronics, and actuator control.Basic knowledge of Embedded C for hardware validation and testing.
