Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator / IT Coordinator to manage and maintain our company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing our IT environment, ensuring the smooth operation of all computer systems, networks, and software applications. They will support daily operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and help improve our IT systems' efficiency and security.
Roles and Responsibilities
## System and Network Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and computer systems
- Monitor network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability
- Implement and manage VPN solutions for secure remote access
- Configure and maintain cloud services as needed
## Security Management
Implement and maintain MDM solutions to secure both company and personal devicesEstablish endpoint security protocols to protect company dataCreate and enforce data access policies and security measuresImplement backup procedures and disaster recovery solutionsConduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments## Asset and Software Management
Create and maintain comprehensive inventory of hardware and software assetsEnsure software license compliance across all company devicesManage the lifecycle of IT equipment, including procurement and retirementStandardize operating systems and software across company devicesDevelop specifications for new equipment purchases based on role requirements## User Management and Support
Provide technical support to all employees for hardware, software, and network issuesCreate standardized user profiles and access controlsEstablish and execute IT onboarding and offboarding processes for employeesTroubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely mannerTrain staff on IT best practices, security awareness, and new technologies## Documentation and Process Development
Create and maintain documentation for all IT systems, configurations, and proceduresDevelop and implement IT policies aligned with company objectivesEstablish standard operating procedures for routine IT tasksDocument network architecture and system configurations## Vendor Management
Liaise with external vendors for hardware, software, and IT servicesManage service level agreements with IT service providersNegotiate contracts and pricing for IT purchasesMaintain relationships with key technology partners## Continuous Improvement

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in IT system administrationStrong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 administrationExperience implementing and managing MDM solutionsProven track record in network configuration and security (including VPN setup)Experience with endpoint security solutions, DLP and best practicesKnowledge of IT asset management and inventory controlDemonstrated ability to create and enforce IT policies and procedures
