Role Overview
The Enterprise / Solution Architect will be responsible for defining, developing, and maintaining the enterprise architecture vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. This role focuses on creating scalable, secure, and efficient architectural frameworks while leading solution design efforts, especially within the Salesforce ecosystem. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems and provide technical leadership on key platforms, particularly Salesforce Service Cloud and Health Cloud in a regulated environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision and strategic roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Create and update architectural roadmaps guiding the evolution of IT systems and capabilities
- Establish and enforce architectural standards, governance policies, and frameworks
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on enterprise architecture
- Identify architectural risks and ensure systems are scalable, secure, and resilient
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture principles, standards, and models
- Drive innovation and efficiency through continuous architectural improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to meet solution needs effectively
- Ensure seamless system and platform integration internally and with external partners
- Design scalable systems to support business growth and performance
- Develop and maintain logical, physical, and conceptual data models to meet business needs
- Enforce data standards, governance policies, and metadata structures for improved data usability
- Contribute to overall program vision and provide guidance on enabling technologies
- Offer leadership on enterprise and functional solution architecture, development best practices, and platform education
- Guide the creation of application and integration design standards in alignment with Salesforce and enterprise best practices
- Troubleshoot product implementation issues and drive successful resolution
- Analyze business and technical requirements and lead the design of scalable solutions
- Review Salesforce releases and roadmaps, assessing impacts on current orgs and solutions
- Identify and manage risks, ensuring thorough resolution of critical issues
- Negotiate and implement solutions for complex challenges with internal and external teams
- Build collaborative relationships across product teams and contribute beyond individual project scope
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree with 12 to 17 years of relevant experienceExperience with Salesforce Service Cloud / Health Cloud in a call center environmentStrong architectural design and modeling experienceIn-depth understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologiesExperience with system integration and IT infrastructureProven ability to align business requirements with technical solutions in regulated environmentsExperience working in agile methodologies, including Product Teams and Development modelsHands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Platform, Sales Cloud, and Service CloudAbility to develop custom Visualforce and Lightning applicationsStrong knowledge of Service Cloud and Sales Cloud featuresSkilled in optimizing business processes through technology and integrationKnowledge of web services, data modeling, and enterprise application integration conceptsFamiliarity with enterprise integration tools (ESBs, ETL) and common integration design patternsExcellent communication and presentation skills adaptable to diverse audiencesProactive self-starter with a demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologiesPreferred Qualifications
