Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team in Bengaluru . This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for driving business growth and expanding Wowpe’s market presence in the fintech space.
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue through innovative business initiatives. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product and marketing, to align business strategies with customer needs and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fintech and financial services sectors.
- Develop and implement effective business development and sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to communicate client feedback and support product enhancement initiatives.
- Manage the entire business development cycle — from lead generation to deal closure.
- Represent Wowpe at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Prepare and present business proposals, pitch decks, and performance reports.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management — ideally within fintech, BFSI, or financial services .Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.Experience in client acquisition, key account management, and strategic planning.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
