Design Manager - Mechanical Engineering

Education : Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering

Experience : Minimum 15 years in Design (Compulsory)

Location :  Pune / PCMC

Responsibilities :

• Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks for design work.
• Lead and guide a team of Design Engineers.
• Develop design concepts based on project requirements.
• Perform technical engineering calculations for cylinders, PPK, hydraulic and structural components.
• Prepare and review technical drawings and BOMs.
• Check and finalize design and material specifications for tenders.
• Plan and allocate work within the design team.
• Maintain all design records, reports and documentation.
• Improve design based on project learnings and customer feedback.
• Train and mentor the team on new technology and design methods.
• Ensure all designs meet engineering standards and quality norms.
