About Magic Bus Magic Bus India Foundation, founded in 1999 by Matthew Spacie, stands among the top five NGOs in India dedicated to education and skill development. Our organisation equips adolescents and young individuals with essential life skills and knowledge to thrive during the transition from childhood to livelihood. Our mission is to create a world where young people break free from poverty, leading fulfilling and rewarding lives while making positive contributions to their communities. We achieve this by enabling adolescents to complete their secondary education, providing them with the necessary skills for employment, and connecting them to job market opportunities. Our target age group ranges from 12 to 24 years.

We operate two flagship programs : the Adolescent Programme and the Livelihood Programme. 1. In our Adolescent Programme, we prioritise the instillation of life skills and the enhancement of education. Through our network of 2,770 connected schools operating in 72 districts across 24 states, we have positively impacted the lives of over 1 million adolescents, with an impressive 51% participation rate of girls. 2. The Livelihood Programme focuses on enhancing employability by providing specialised skills training and connecting young individuals to sustainable livelihood opportunities. Through our 95 Livelihood Centres and 825 Colleges, we offer sector-specific training, job placements, and post-placement support. This programme, operational in 13 states, has achieved an impressive 56% participation rate among girls and has successfully facilitated the placement of 2,02,429 youths to date. The role will be responsible to manage the relationship of corporate donors and nurture and grow the accounts ensuring they become sustainable source of funds.

No of Positions : 2

Specific tasks and responsibilities :

Identify as well as create opportunities for engaging employees of corporates as volunteers with Magic Bus.  Ensure financial support from the corporates via employee volunteering on a sustainable basis.  Self-sustaining practices for Retention of existing donors and growing grant / donation sizes  Plan and execute the annual employee engagement plan with various corporate donors.  Responsible for good CRM .  Play the role of an effective spokesperson between the Magic Bus and respective donor organizations  Custodian of data and analytics with reference to the progress and monitoring of program  Organizing kick off meeting with project stakeholders both internal and external  Ensure seamless communications and management of Corporate donors  Effective management of program budgets and transparent reporting back to the donor

  • To coordinate donor engagement activities
  • To organize project reviews at regular intervals and monitor progress
  • Timely submission of donor reports (financial and programmatic)

Desired Competencies :

Experience of on-boarding as well as engaging corporate volunteers.  Good skills at managing volunteering sessions / events etc.  Experience in CRM from Corporate donors  Experience in managing key account  Experience in overseeing clients and programs Ability to drive complex projects in a timely manner  Ability to travel across the Magic Bus markets  Ability to work effectively with huge Data as well as analyse them  Very good with MS Excel and Power point  Entrepreneurial, with high-energy levels and the passion to succeed  Have strong networking skills and relationship orientation  Have strong verbal and written communication skills  Have impeccable integrity and high personal ethics.

Qualification & Work experience :

Any Graduate in Social work or other social sciences relevant to the development sector  2 to 5 years’ experience in raising Corporate donor management for Non-profits.  Awareness reflects engagement with diverse sectoral issues, especially on education, adolescent empowerment and rural development.

Team coordination :

1. Director, Impact and the Impact team - To find ways to represent and communicate results / outcomes

2. Sustainability / Fundraising team - To ensure prompt and appropriate acknowledgement of all grant income and that all information relating to it is accurate, up to date and well organized and also provide other feasible support as required to the whole fundraising team in line with experience.

3. Communications Team - To develop effective channel for internal as well as external communications, milestones achieved, success stories etc.

4. Other support functions – to ensure adequate manpower, fund allocation & accuracy, technology enablement are in place.

Reporting To Director – Corporate Partnerships Mobility

The role would require to travel in line with the requirements of the grants, stakeholders, project management team etc. from time to time.
