The Opportunity :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Lead to drive the strategy, growth, and profitability of our Xtendra Clear / FS, seasonings, and flavors portfolio. This pivotal role involves leading market expansion, fostering key client relationships, particularly within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) segment, and spearheading cross-functional initiatives to ensure market success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Product Strategy & Business Development : Lead the development and execution of comprehensive product strategies and business development initiatives specifically for Xtendra Clear / FS, seasonings, and flavors.
- Key Account Management : Cultivate, manage, and expand strong, lasting relationships with key B2B clients, with a particular strategic focus on penetrating and growing the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) segment.
- Revenue & Profitability Growth : Directly responsible for driving significant revenue growth and enhancing profitability for the assigned product lines and regional scope.
- Cross-functional Leadership : Lead and collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams (including Sales, R&D, Marketing, Operations) to ensure the seamless and successful implementation of new product launches, market penetration plans, and ongoing product initiatives.
- Financial Oversight : Oversee and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement for the assigned product portfolio, define and implement effective pricing strategies, and develop robust market penetration plans.
- Market Intelligence : Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends, evolving customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Technical Guidance : Provide expert technical guidance and support to both external clients and internal teams regarding product applications, benefits, and optimal usage.
- Collaboration & Positioning : Work closely with the Research & Development (R&D) and Marketing teams to guide new product development, enhance existing offerings, and refine product positioning in the market.
Qualifications : Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a mandatory A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in technical sales and business leadership roles, specifically within the food ingredients industry.
Demonstrated strong exposure to frying applications and a proven track record in product development tailored for Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs).Solid experience in managing large, complex regional B2B client accounts.Proven ability to effectively lead and mentor teams, coupled with direct experience in handling P&L responsibilities for a business unit or product line.Preferred Background :
