Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to lead our Used Lubricant Oil Re-Refining Plant. The Plant Head will be responsible for overall operations, safety, regulatory compliance, team leadership, and driving profitability. This role holds full P&L responsibility and will ensure the plant operates efficiently, sustainably, and profitably in line with company goals and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic and P&L Management :
- Own the plant’s Profit & Loss, ensuring cost-effective operations and margin improvement.
- Drive strategic planning and budgeting for the plant.
- Implement business strategies that ensure plant profitability, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to achieve financial and production targets.
Operations Management :
Oversee daily plant operations including feedstock procurement through different channel partners and other stakeholders, refining processes, product quality, and dispatch.Optimize plant throughput, yield, and energy efficiency.Ensure maximum plant uptime through effective preventive and predictive maintenance.Team Leadership :
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and safety.Develop team capabilities through training, performance management, and succession planning.Compliance and Safety :
Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.Liaise with environmental agencies and regulatory authorities.Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.Supply Chain and Procurement :
Oversee procurement of used oil feedstock and other raw materials.Collaborate with logistics for inbound and outbound transportation.Stakeholder Management :
Coordinate with senior leadership, customers, vendors, and government authorities.Support business development efforts to identify new markets or partners.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related field. MBA is a plus.Minimum 12-15 years of experience in used oil re-refining plant management, petroleum refining, chemical processing, or related industries, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong understanding of used oil re-refining technologies (e.g., Filtration, vacuum distillation, polishing technologies, hydrotreating).Proven experience in managing P&L and driving operational excellence.Continuously developing through learning and competency building.Skills & Competencies :
