As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for ANZ, you are responsible for helping our customers reimagine their customer experiences using Adobe DX solutions and creating new sales opportunities for our sales organization in the process. The primary objective of this role is to penetrate untapped markets by acquiring Greenfield customers and establishing Adobe Experience Cloud as a strategic pillar in their digital transformation initiatives.

What youll do

  • Deliver a consultative approach to selling; taking time to understand our customers' businesses, their goals, objectives, and challenges before recommending a tailored solution
  • Consistently achieve quality pipeline & other metrics such as inbound lead follow-up & outbound account engagement metrics
  • Manage a territory creation plan for your account executives & their accounts. This role demands a hunter mindsetrelentlessly identifying and acquiring Greenfield customers.
  • Researching key accounts, identifying decision-makers, generating interest, and developing accounts to stimulate opportunity
  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop Target Accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready leads and opportunities
  • Setup, attend & run qualification meetings with customers in partnership with relevant Account Executive & Solution Consultants
  • Update CRM, Outreach, and other tools as necessary to ensure the capture of key activity history & ensure a smooth hand-off to the Account Executive as necessary
  • Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimisation

What you'll need to succeed

  • Track record of successful business development in enterprise solutions, software, or tech sales environment
  • Self-starter with high motivation, independence, resilience, and ability to collaborate with sales & marketing teams to deliver pipe creation goals.
  • Strong communication including listening, written, verbal skills
  • Experience managing all areas of the BDR process including account planning, pre-call preparation, opportunity qualification, and objection handling
  • This role calls for a strong hunter mindsetproactively identifying and engaging prospects, thinking creatively, showing tenacity, and delivering a strategic POV to convert Greenfield opportunities
  • Consistently achieve inside sales goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system is required
