Title : Brand Acquisition Manager / Category Manager - FMCG (Beauty & Wellness)

We are looking for a dynamic professional with strong experience in acquiring and managing FMCG brands, particularly in the personal care, beauty, health, and wellness sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem, including marketplaces, quick commerce platforms, and D2C websites, and how each operates across the value chain.
The role demands a deep network of brand relationships, strong business development acumen, and prior experience in multi-brand management from a retailer or platform perspective-not a SaaS onboarding background.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Brand Acquisition & Onboarding : Identify and onboard high-potential brands in the personal care, beauty, and health & wellness space across marketplaces, quick commerce, and D2C channels.
- Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong working relationships with brand partners to drive long-term engagement, strategic alignment, and mutual growth.
- Category Development : Curate and expand the brand portfolio with a focus on category depth, consumer trends, and assortment gaps in collaboration with internal teams.
- Business Development : Lead negotiations, commercials, and partnership structures that align with growth and margin targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, supply chain, operations, and tech teams to ensure smooth brand onboarding, cataloguing, and go-live processes.
- E-commerce Strategy Execution : Deeply understand various e-commerce models (marketplace, quick commerce, website / D2C), and contribute to strategic decisions to drive performance across these channels.
- Market Intelligence : Stay updated with emerging trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour in the beauty & wellness space to identify new opportunities.
You're the perfect candidate for this role if you :
Minimum 4-8 years of experience in brand acquisition, category management, or vendor onboarding in the FMCG / e-commerce sector.Must have worked extensively in the personal care, beauty, health, and wellness categories.Prior experience working with or for FMCG brands or platforms (marketplaces, quick commerce, or D2C).Note : Experience limited to SaaS onboarding roles is not suitable.3P Experience : Proven track record of handling third-party (3P) partnerships from a brand acquisition standpoint.Brand Network : Should have an existing network and relationships with brands within the above-mentioned categories.E-commerce Ecosystem Knowledge : Strong understanding of how marketplaces, quick commerce, and website (D2C) models function across the value chain (cataloguing, pricing, operations, etc.)Why Assiduus?
