USER ACQUISITION MANAGER / EXPERT / LEAD
Garden City Games seeks a highly analytical and results-driven Performance UA Manager to lead our user acquisition and growth marketing initiatives.

We develop free-to-play mobile and social games enjoyed by millions worldwide. The Bangalore-based studio employs over 100 talented professionals to create exceptional games for phones, tablets, and desktops.
Previously known as PopReach, Garden City Games was established by prominent figures in the mobile gaming industry. It oversees popular intellectual properties such as Smurfs Village, War of Nations, Kingdoms of Camelot, and Kitchen Scramble, which have garnered over 400 million lifetime downloads.
The Opportunity :
As a Performance UA Manager, you play a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across our key products and channels. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive paid media strategies, managing significant marketing budgets, and leveraging data to deliver measurable ROI.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of the performance marketing landscape, and a passion for continuous optimization and innovation. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, analytics, brand, and commercial teams to achieve our ambitious growth targets.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities) :
- Develop, implement, and optimize comprehensive paid media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Apple Search Ads, etc.) to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Manage and forecast million-dollar promotional and media budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and maximizing ROI / ROAS.
- Analyze campaign performance rigorously, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization through A / B testing and data-driven decision-making.
- Lead innovation in promotional mechanics, strategies, and creative execution, optimizing for conversion and business impact.
- Own the end-to-end project management of performance marketing campaigns, from ideation and conceptualization to execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, Analytics, and Business Operations, to ensure alignment, optimize funnels, and deliver high-quality, legally compliant creative assets.
- Develop and implement App Store Optimization (ASO) strategies to enhance app visibility and increase organic downloads, including keyword research and optimizing listings. (If applicable)
- Identify and assess new acquisition channels, partners, and opportunities to expand user acquisition efforts.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with user acquisition partners and platform representatives to unlock further value and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain detailed performance reports and dashboards, offering regular updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Keep up with the latest trends and best practices in performance marketing, the mobile app ecosystem, and marketing technology.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications) :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the industry.Over 5 years of experience in performance marketing, primarily focusing on paid media, customer acquisition, and retention in the B2C sector, ideally in a fast-paced, free-to-play, mobile app.Proven track record of success in managing and optimizing complex paid media campaigns with significant budgets to achieve substantial business impact (e.g., revenue, growth, ROAS).Highly skilled in utilizing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Tableau, or similar data platforms) and advanced Excel.A strong understanding of the effects of promotions on financial performance, customer behavior, user acquisition algorithms, and incremental KPIs.Experience with marketing technology, such as conversion APIs and mobile measurement partners, along with proficiency in building campaigns directly using platform Ads Manager tools, including Meta, Google, and TikTok Ads Manager.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a consulting mindset, demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.Proven effective in project management, highly organized, and adept at independently managing complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and creative teams.Resourceful, endlessly curious, and adaptable to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Strong level of ownership, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different projects.Interest in video games is preferred.Knowledge of SQL and / or Python / R is a plus.Why Join Us :
