We are looking for an experienced SP Architect and Developer to join our team.
This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Service Portfolio Management solutions that align IT services with business strategies and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT service management frameworks, particularly ITIL, as well as experience with developing and customizing service management platforms and tools.
Key Responsibilities :
Service Portfolio Management (SPM) Architect : .
- Design and architect end-to-end Service Portfolio Management solutions, ensuring they align with organizational goals and IT service management processes.
- Develop service portfolio management strategies that optimize the delivery of IT services across the entire service lifecycle.
- Ensure the service portfolio reflects the current and future needs of the business, helping to make informed decisions about service investments, rationalization, and decommissioning.
Tool Development & Customization :
Develop and customize service management tools (e., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or other ITSM platforms) to support SPM processes.Build automated workflows, reports, and dashboards to track and manage the health, performance, and cost of services within the portfolio.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities that improve the efficiency of service portfolio management.Integration and Data Management :
Design and implement integration strategies to ensure seamless data flow between SPM tools and other enterprise systems (e., finance, HR, project management).Ensure data quality and consistency across the service portfolio, managing relationships between services, projects, and other key business entities.Service Lifecycle Management : .
Oversee the full lifecycle of services within the portfolio, ensuring they are evaluated, improved, and retired according to business needs.Work with service owners, stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure that services in the portfolio meet defined service levels, performance targets, and customer satisfaction goals.Stakeholder Engagement : .
Collaborate with IT service management teams, business leaders, and other stakeholders to understand service requirements and business objectives.Communicate effectively with senior management, providing insights into portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Provide training and guidance to staff on the effective use of SPM tools and processes.Process Improvement : .
Continuously improve SPM processes by evaluating service portfolio performance and implementing best practices and industry standards (e., ITIL).Identify gaps in service offerings and processes, recommending improvements to enhance service quality and delivery.Reporting & Analytics : .
Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide visibility into the service portfolio, covering aspects such as cost, performance, risk, and business alignment.Provide analytical insights to inform decision-making regarding service investments, service design, and service improvement.Required Qualifications : .
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience : .
6 years of experience in IT service management, including 3+ years in Service Portfolio Management.Proven experience in designing, developing, and customizing ITSM tools (e., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar platforms).Solid understanding of ITIL and ITSM frameworks, particularly around Service Portfolio, Service Design, and Service Lifecycle management.Experience with service catalog management, service cost models, and service performance management.Certifications :
ITIL Foundation certification (required).ITIL Intermediate or Expert certification (preferred).ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (or similar certifications) is a plus.Technical Skills :
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e., JavaScript, Python, REST APIs).Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar platforms.Knowledge of ITSM tool integrations, customizations, and automation (e., workflow automation, reporting).Experience with SQL, database management, and data analysis for reporting purposes.Soft Skills :
