Job Description :
We are looking for a skilled and proactive ServiceNow Developer (ITSM) with 57 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions, particularly in the IT Service Management (ITSM) domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in scripting, customization, and integration, with a strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices and architecture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules focused on ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, etc.).
- Customize ServiceNow workflows, forms, business rules, client scripts, UI policies / actions, and catalog items.
- Implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST / SOAP APIs.
- Develop custom applications using ServiceNow Studio and Scoped Applications.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical
specifications.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow application issues and perform root cause analysis.Ensure the platform follows governance, security, and compliance standards.Perform platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.Collaborate with global teams across time zones to support ongoing ServiceNow enhancements and projects.Required Skills & Qualifications :
5 - 7 years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ITSM modules.Proficient in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting (client / server side).Hands-on experience with Service Catalog, Workflows, CMDB, and SLAs.Strong knowledge of REST / SOAP integrations, MID Server, and Web Services.Experience in ServiceNow upgrades and performance optimization.Understanding of ITIL processes and service management principles.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and / or Developer certification is to Have :Experience in other ServiceNow modules like HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.Knowledge of UI / UX enhancements using Service Portal.ref : hirist.tech)
