Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in IT staffing and resource deployment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in acquiring clients for deploying IT professionals such as Database Administrators, Business Analysts, Service Delivery, Developers, QA Engineers, Support Engineers, and more across contract and full-time engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with potential clients across industries (IT, BFSI, Pharma, Logistics, etc.) for staffing solutions.
- Understand and analyze client requirements for various IT roles including but not limited to :
Database Administrators (DBAs)
Business Analysts (BAs)
Service Delivery Managers (SDMs)
Developers (Java, .NET, Full Stack, Frontend)
QA / Test Engineers
Support & IT Helpdesk
DevOps Engineers
Cloud Engineers
Project Managers
Scrum Masters
Coordinate with the recruitment team to ensure timely delivery of profiles and smooth onboarding of resources.Meet monthly and quarterly sales / revenue targets through new business development and account expansion.Pitch staffing and resourcing models (contract, contract-to-hire, permanent) effectively.Generate and qualify leads via phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and industry events.Set up meetings with clients and understand their business needs.Develop effective sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets.Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed targets.Act as the primary point of contact for client communication and post-sales support.Ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling / cross-selling opportunities.Work closely with internal teams like Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver client solutions.Required Experience & Skills
Proven track record in B2B / B2C sales or business development.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong understanding of IT services, staffing, and resource deployment.Good knowledge of B2B Sales, cloud, software & infrastructure solutions.Familiarity with CRM tools such as :HubSpot CRM
