Role Overview

We are looking for a GIS Manager to lead our geospatial operations and data management team. The role involves overseeing GIS workflows, ensuring data accuracy, and coordinating across drone operations, engineering, and client teams. The ideal candidate should bring strong technical skills in GIS and leadership experience in managing project timelines and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the GIS team in processing drone survey outputs including orthomosaics, LiDAR, DEMs, and 3D models.
  • Manage end-to-end GIS workflows ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Oversee data QC, spatial analysis, and client deliverable reviews.
  • Maintain and organize geospatial databases, ensuring efficient data accessibility.
  • Coordinate with drone operations, design, and client teams for project alignment.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for GIS processes.
  • Support integration with AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, and other engineering tools.
  • Train and mentor GIS team members to enhance skill and productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in GIS mapping, data analysis, and drone survey data processing.
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, Agisoft Metashape, PiX4D Mapper, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of LiDAR, Remote Sensing, and coordinate systems.
  • Experience managing GIS projects and team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Powerline corridor mapping or PLS-CADD integration.
  • Familiarity with web-based GIS platforms and AI-driven analytics.
  • Knowledge of automation tools or basic scripting (Python / ModelBuilder) is a plus.
