Investment Associate

Job descriptionConduct detailed fundamental research on companies across sectors (both listed and private) Conduct deep dives into industries and markets to identify emerging trends and opportunities Assess competitive positioning, build investment thesis, identify key drivers of value, key risks, and business model sustainability Analyze company financials and key metrics to support investment recommendations Build and maintain detailed financial models for target and portfolio companies Perform valuation using DCF, relative valuation, and other relevant methodologies Prepare high-quality investment memos and presentations (Word & PowerPoint) for the Investment Committee Summarize complex data and research into clear, concise, and actionable insights Monitor portfolio companies and sectoral developments Upto 4 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance Proven experience in building financial models independently (case study may be part of the selection process) Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting, valuation, and corporate finance principles Excellent command over MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (advanced Excel skills preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a lean team Passion for investing and long-term wealth creation Opportunity to work closely with a senior investment team in a meritocratic and intellectually stimulating environment Exposure to both public and private markets across sectors and business models A long-term learning curve and the ability to participate in high-impact investment decisions If interested, please send your resume and a short cover note with the subject line : "Application for Investment Associate" at thrive@p4capital.in Please mention your current and expected compensation (fixed and variable) in your cover note.
