Job Purpose :
The Salesforce CPQ Specialist will be responsible for configuring, managing, and customizing Salesforce CPQ, CLM, and Order Lifecycle processes. The role ensures scalable, accurate, and optimized quote-to-cash operations, supporting cross-functional teams across Sales, Finance, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Salesforce CPQ Configuration & Management :
- Configure, customize, and maintain Salesforce CPQ (Configure Price Quote) including Product Bundles, Product Options, Configuration Attributes, and Pricing Rules.
- Manage pricing, discounting structures, approval rules, and advanced quoting functionalities.
- Develop and maintain Quote Templates, document generation processes, and automated workflows.
CLM & Order Lifecycle Management :
Configure and support Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Order Lifecycle processes within Salesforce.Ensure seamless integration between CPQ, CLM, Billing, and downstream order systems.Technical Development & Integration :
Understand and optimize the Data Model related to Salesforce CPQ and associated modules.Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce CPQ and external systems using connectors, REST / SOAP APIs, and middleware tools.Work closely with engineering and integration teams to ensure smooth data flow across Collaboration :Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Product teams to gather requirements and implement scalable CPQ enhancements.Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution of CPQ-related problems.Provide end-user training, documentation, and support for CPQ, CLM, and Order Management features.Required Skills & Experience :
6+ years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce CPQ.Strong expertise in configuring, managing, and customizing Salesforce CPQ, CLM, and Order Lifecycle.Deep understanding of CPQ Data Model and relational structures.In-depth knowledge of :
Product Setup & ConfigurationProduct Options & BundlesPricing, Discounting, and RulesQuote Templates & Document GenerationExperience integrating Salesforce CPQ with external systems via connectors or APIs (SOAP / REST).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with detail-oriented execution.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Preferred Qualifications :
Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist (strong advantage).Experience with Salesforce Billing or Revenue Cloud.Familiarity with Apex, Lightning Components, and declarative automation tools (Flow, Process Builder).Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.(ref : hirist.tech)
