We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development professional to join our Contract Logistics team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, building strategic partnerships, and leading commercial initiatives across India, with a strong focus on the western region. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational understanding, and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives across India, with primary focus on the western region.
- Build and maintain a robust business pipeline aligned with revenue goals and market opportunities.
- Lead solution design, proposal development, and customer presentations for new business opportunities.
- Manage tendering processes including RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as credit control, operations, and finance to ensure business success and DSO management.
- Deliver on budgeted revenue targets with accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
- Identify and capitalize on new revenue streams through strategic market and customer mapping.
- Prepare and deliver business MIS reports, dashboards, and exception analyses on a timely basis.
Key Skills & Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related functions.In-depth understanding of Contract Logistics and SCM business models .Proven experience in business development, client acquisition, and solution design .Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive outcomes remotely.Strong analytical mindset with strategic and leadership capabilities.
