Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer (Cisco ACI – L2) with 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking and data center operations. The candidate will be responsible for supporting Cisco ACI environments, performing network changes, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in the implementation and maintenance of ACI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational support for Cisco ACI fabrics , including monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration changes.

Assist in deploying and maintaining ACI leaf / spine architectures and APIC configurations.

Configure and manage EPGs, bridge domains, contracts, and tenants within ACI.

Perform L2 / L3 network troubleshooting and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.

Support integration with L4 / L7 services such as firewalls and load balancers.

Work closely with senior engineers for change implementation, migration, and capacity planning .

Maintain network documentation , configuration backups, and change records.

Support automation and scripting initiatives for network operations.

Ensure network uptime, performance, and adherence to security and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in enterprise networking and data center operations.

Strong understanding of Cisco ACI concepts (EPGs, bridge domains, contracts, tenants, policies).

Proficiency in Cisco Nexus platforms (9K / 7K) and core switching / routing protocols (VLAN, STP, BGP, OSPF).

Experience with ACI troubleshooting tools and APIC GUI / CLI.

Familiarity with VXLAN, EVPN, and overlay / underlay networking .

Basic knowledge of Python or Ansible for automation is an added advantage.

Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Cisco Certified Network Professional ( CCNP ) or equivalent certification.

Exposure to SDN, multi-site ACI, or hybrid cloud environments .

Experience working in 24x7 support or rotational shift operations .
