Role Overview
We are seeking a driven supply chain and procurement professional to ensure our hardware manufacturing scales smoothly from thousands to millions of units. This role requires strong ownership, operational depth, and the ability to balance cost, quality, and delivery speed. Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement and Alternate Sourcing
- Ensure consistent and uninterrupted supply of all components for ongoing and future production.
- Identify and qualify alternate parts to achieve cost reduction or feature improvement.
2. Vendor and Commercial Management
Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including negotiations, contracts, credit terms, purchase orders, invoicing, and payment cycles.Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships and position the 300K-unit annual plan as an exclusive supply opportunity.3. Production Planning and Visibility
Drive robust production planning with a 12-month demand projection and a 3-month rolling PO structure.Implement and manage a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for real-time visibility into work-in-progress, output, and inventory.Establish a Sales and Operations Planning (SNOP) frameworkConduct Gemba analysis and enable open-book pricing validation with suppliers.Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or production planning (preferably in electronics or hardware manufacturing).Proven track record in vendor negotiation, production visibility, and supply chain execution.Benefits
