Project Head- Radhikapur Coal Mine (Aluminium)

Vedanta Mines Aluminium is instrumental in securing the Coal and Bauxite resources that fuel our alumina refineries, aluminium smelters, and power plants at Odisha and Chhattisgarh. In line with Vedanta Aluminium's vision of 3MTPA capacity with 100% forward and backward integration, the Mines Business is ramping up coal production to 50 MT annually and developing newly secured bauxite blocks to meet over 18 MT of requirements - forming the backbone of our integrated growth across the aluminium value chain.

Vedanta invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from dynamic, visionary, and results-driven professionals for a leadership role that will shape the future of our Aluminium Business. We are seeking a passionate and strategic leader for the position of Project Head, Radhikapur Coal Mine (Aluminium) , a role central to the commencement and operationalization of one of its greenfield mining assets.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee all strategic and operational activities related to the Radhikapur coal mine project.
• Develop and execute comprehensive pre-startup plans to ensure timely commencement of mining operations.
• Formulate project budgets and implementation strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate the onboarding and management of the Mine Developer and Operator (MDO) as a key business partner.
• Securing all necessary statutory clearances, including among others, environment, land acquisition and rehabilitation & resettlement (R&R).
• Champion SHES (Safety, Health, Environment, and Sustainability) initiatives to uphold the highest standards of operational integrity.
