Senior Guidewire Portal Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Guidewire Portal Developer with extensive experience in developing and customizing Guidewire portals for the insurance industry. This role is ideal for a developer with 7+ years of experience in Guidewire development, particularly in configuring and customizing Guidewire Portal for Policyholders, Agents, and other external users. The ideal candidate will have client-facing experience or accelerator experience and be able to deliver high-quality portal solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure Guidewire portals (Policyholder, Agent, and other user-facing portals) to support the needs of the insurance business.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other technical teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into portal solutions.
• Customize and extend Guidewire Portal functionalities, including user interfaces, workflows, business rules, and integration with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Perform system integration, ensuring seamless communication between Guidewire portals and back-office systems.
• Lead the development and optimization of portal performance to provide smooth user experiences, high availability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex portal-related issues in both development and production environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines.
• Participate in Agile development processes, ensuring timely delivery of portal functionalities in iterative cycles.
• Engage with clients directly to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions aligned with their requirements.
• Stay updated on the latest Guidewire releases and industry trends, continuously improving portal functionalities and user experience.
