Job Title : Technical Trainer – Mechanical / Design / Industrial Engineering

Location : Remote

Job Type : Part-Time

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Trainer specializing in Mechanical, Design, and Industrial Engineering domains to develop, deliver, and evaluate training programs for engineers, technicians, and production staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of hands-on technical expertise, CAD / design proficiency, and the ability to mentor and upskill teams in modern engineering practices and tools.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs in areas such as :
  • Mechanical Design and Analysis
  • CAD Software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, etc.)
  • Industrial Engineering & Process Optimization
  • Manufacturing Processes and Quality Systems
  • Product Design & Development Lifecycle
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Concepts
  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions for engineers and technicians.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials to align with industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Production, and HR teams to identify training needs and design customized learning paths.
  • Maintain and update training manuals, SOPs, and technical documentation .
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous learning and skill enhancement within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during training.
  • Support certification and competency evaluation programs.

Education :

  • B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical / Industrial / Production / Design Engineering

    • Experience :

  • Minimum 10 years of total experience , including 3–5 years in technical training, mentoring, or L&D roles .
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, design, or industrial process environments is essential.

    • Technical Skills :

  • Proficient in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, or AutoCAD .
  • Knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and Lean methodologies .
  • Familiarity with PLM systems, additive manufacturing, and digital manufacturing concepts is preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for teaching, knowledge sharing, and workforce development.
