Supported by experienced education consultants and strong university partnerships, the company is committed to transparent, reliable, and student-focused services that make studying abroad a seamless experience. Role Description The Student Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The counselor will guide prospective students through the entire study-abroad journey, including understanding their academic background, assessing their interests, and recommending suitable countries, universities, and courses. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, responding to inquiries, providing accurate information on admission requirements, documentation, and visa processes, and maintaining detailed records in the CRM or related systems. The role involves close coordination with admissions and operations teams to ensure timely application submissions, follow-ups, and updates to students and families. The counselor will also participate in seminars, webinars, and outreach activities, and contribute to building long-term relationships through excellent customer service and ethical, student-centric advice. Qualifications - Strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills, with the ability to understand academic profiles and recommend suitable study-abroad pathways. - Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, and the ability to explain complex processes in a simple, supportive manner. - Customer Service orientation with a focus on empathy, problem-solving, and building trust with students and families. - Sales skills - Knowledge or experience in the Education domain, preferably in overseas education consulting, university admissions, or related fields. - Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in education, psychology, counseling, or management is an advantage. - Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet timelines with attention to detail. - Proficiency in basic computer applications, CRM tools, and online communication platforms. - Prior experience in student advising, career guidance, or study-abroad counseling is preferred but motivated early-career professionals are also encouraged to apply.
