Job Description

Design & Development

Conceptualize and design new bag collections aligned with brand aesthetics and seasonal themes.
Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and CADs for approval.
Develop innovative and functional bag designs considering trends, materials, and usability.

Material & Vendor Coordination

Source and select appropriate materials, hardware, and trims within budget.

Coordinate with vendors and artisans for sampling, material finalization, and production feasibility.

Sampling & Production

Oversee the sampling process from prototype to final approval.

Ensure design accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of samples.

Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth handover from design to manufacturing.

Trend Research & Market Analysis

Conduct regular research on fashion trends, competitor products, and market demands.

Present insights and new design directions in line with customer preferences and brand goals.

Quality & Cost Control

Ensure all designs meet brand quality standards.

Optimize material usage and production costs without compromising design integrity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the marketing and merchandising teams to ensure product-market alignment.

Provide design inputs for campaigns, lookbooks, and photoshoots.

Timelines & Reporting

Maintain design calendars and ensure adherence to deadlines for collections and launches.

Report design progress, sampling updates, and challenges to the Design Lead.
