Job descriptionAct as a subject matter expert for JavaScript, providing guidance and technical direction to the team. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. Mentor and coach junior developers, helping them grow their skills and navigate complex challenges. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and processes. Proactively identify and resolve technical debt and architectural challenges. Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code reliability. Work with DevOps teams to manage CI / CD pipelines and ensure smooth, automated deployments. Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Proven experience with a major front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js). Strong experience with back-end technologies, specifically Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js). Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB). Extensive experience with API design and integration (RESTful APIs, GraphQL). Strong knowledge of software design patterns and object-oriented programming. Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git. Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Babel). Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress). Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring others. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
