Key Responsibilities :

Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of insurance software products from ideation to delivery.

Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and development roadmaps.

Oversee and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.

Drive user experience and design decisions with a customer-first mindset.

Engage with clients, internal stakeholders, and partners to gather requirements and market feedback.

Conduct competitive analysis and stay up to date with emerging trends in InsurTech and full-stack technologies.

Manage agile development cycles, sprint planning, and backlog grooming in coordination with the technical team.

Lead product demos, go-to-market planning, and solution training for internal and external users.

Assist the product team by providing expertise / suggestions in the areas of design, storytelling, interaction design, visual design, user research and user behavior.

Proactively identify risks and issues, assist with gap analysis and develop proof-of-concepts.

Mentor and manage a team of developers and product specialists.

Required Qualifications :

Minimum 12 years of experience in full-stack software development and microservices-based architecture.

Hands-on technical expertise in React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and modern web application architecture.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance domain (general).

Experience in developing or managing commercial insurance products or platforms is a strong plus.

Strong experience in agile methodologies, product backlog management, and stakeholder communication.

Prior experience leading cross-functional technical teams or product engineering squads.

Strong quantitative and qualitative skills to support product decisions, define KPIs, prioritization skills

Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, MCA or a related field;

Preferred :

Experience with DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).

Familiarity with insurance regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Background in enterprise SaaS product development.
