Lab Technician - India

Job Brief

We are looking for technicians to aid in the setup of our lab space and to work with our engineering team on building and testing prototypes. Technicians will also be required to assist in lab management duties, such as purchasing and maintaining equipment. Qualified candidates should have prior hands-on experience working in mechanical, electrical, and / or chemical labs or industrial companies.

Roles and responsibilities

• Manage lab resources
• Assist and advise on component selection from external suppliers
• Order components and ensure delivery and installation of equipment
• Maintain instrumentation and lab space organization
• Aid engineers in prototype assembly and testing, including :
• Construction of test fixtures
• Electrical wiring for both low voltage and high voltage / high current circuits
• Rework electronic boards
• Hydrogen gas processing (piping, drying, etc.)
• Water processing (pumps, filtration, etc.)
