Automation Test Engineer - Functional Testing

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
• Develop and execute API test cases using Rest Assured.
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing for web applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Create and maintain test artifacts including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Track and manage defects using JIRA and participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and best practices within the Skills & Qualifications :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 to 5 years of experience in automation testing (70% automation, 30% manual).
• Strong proficiency in Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured for test automation.
• Solid understanding of OOPS concepts.
• Experience with functional testing, system testing, and manual test case execution.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
