Job Description :

• A lot of experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point).
• Worked with modules for creating rules, NAT, VPN (IPSec / SSL), URL filtering, and threat protection.
• Check, approve, and carry out firewall Change Requests (CRs), which might include changes to policies, NAT rules, and ACLs.
• Make sure that changes are made without any downtime and that rollback plans are in place.
• Keep thorough CR logs and let stakeholders know what happened after the installation.
• Find the root problem and put in place lasting remedies.
• Write down the steps you took to fix the problem.
• Help with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) by checking problems at the firewall / security layer.
• Troubleshooting calls are for dealing with difficulties like connection issues, external VA issues, rule dumps, DNS / FQDN resolution, and so on.
• For important problems, open and keep track of cases with OEM manufacturers like Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA, and others.
• Operations based on shifts : assistance around the clock with morning, afternoon, and night shifts
• Make sure that any problems that need to be dealt with are passed on smoothly to the following shift.

Certifications preferred : CCNA Security, Palo Alto PCNSA / PCNSE, Fortinet NSE4, ITIL Foundation.
