About the Role :
Vistex is actively seeking experienced and highly skilled SAP SD Functional Consultants to join our team across multiple locations in India. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in SAP Sales and Distribution, who have a proven track record in both implementation and support projects. As an onsite consultant, you will be instrumental in optimizing our clients' Order-to-Cash processes and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules. Key Responsibilities :
- SAP SD Expertise : Provide comprehensive functional consulting services in the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, covering all aspects of sales, shipping, and billing processes.
- Implementation & Support : Lead or actively participate in full lifecycle SAP SD implementation projects, from blueprinting to go-live, as well as providing ongoing support for existing SAP SD landscapes.
- Order-to-Cash (OTC) Mastery : Possess deep expertise in the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) process, including Sales Order Management, Deliveries, Shipping, Transportation, and Billing.
- Pricing & Billing : Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD Pricing configuration (Condition Types, Access Sequences, Pricing Procedures, Condition Records) and Billing processes (Invoice creation, Credit / Debit Memos, Intercompany Billing).
- Integration : Demonstrate robust experience in integrating SAP SD with other core SAP modules, particularly SAP FI (Financial Accounting) for revenue recognition and accounts receivable, and SAP MM (Materials Management) for material master data, inventory, and procurement.
- Interface Development Exposure : Possess exposure to and understanding of various interface development technologies, including EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), IDoc (Intermediate Document) processing for inbound / outbound data, and SAP Fiori for user experience enhancements.
- Functional Specifications : Skilled in creating detailed and clear Functional Specifications (FS) for ABAP developments (e.g., custom reports, interfaces, enhancements), ensuring precise communication of business requirements to the technical team.
- Custom Object Validation : Proficient in validating and testing custom objects and developments (WRICEF objects) to ensure they meet functional requirements, quality standards, and do not disrupt existing processes.
- Problem Solving & Analysis : Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP SD solutions, performing gap analysis and recommending best practices.
- Communication & Collaboration : Exhibit excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders across various project phases.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.5 to 10 years of proven experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant.Demonstrable experience in at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP SD implementations and significant experience in support projects.In-depth knowledge of SAP SD Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including pricing and billing.Solid understanding of SAP SD integration points with SAP FI and SAP MM.Familiarity with interface technologies like EDI / IDoc / Fiori.Proficiency in writing Functional Specifications and validating ABAP developments.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in an onsite, collaborative team environment.Must be available to join within a maximum of 30 days.(ref : hirist.tech)
