Job description

The Role

We&aposre looking for a talented intern to build a desktop application from scratch using Electron. The primary focus will be creating a smooth, intuitive user experience around audio recording functionality, with integration to external platforms for data processing.

What You&aposll be building during the intern

  • Build a complete Electron application using React / TypeScript
  • Develop audio recording interfaces with focus on exceptional UX / UI
  • Integrate with external APIs for data processing and platform connectivity
  • Optimize performance for smooth audio handling and responsive interface
  • Handle cross-platform compatibility and deployment

Required Skills

  • Must Have : Strong React / TypeScript experience with modern patterns
  • Solid Electron fundamentals - main / renderer processes, IPC, packaging
  • Audio API experience - Web Audio API, MediaRecorder, or similar
  • UI / UX focus - ability to create polished, intuitive interfaces

    • Nice to Have

  • Previous Electron projects (personal or professional)
  • Desktop application deployment experience
  • Performance optimization awareness
  • Cross-platform development considerations

    • Interview Process

  • Short assignment - Build a small Electron app (AI coding tools welcome)
  • Architectural design walkthrough - Discuss your approach and decisions
  • Results discussion - Review assignment and technical choices
