The Reservation Executive is responsible for handling all reservation activities, including responding to guest inquiries, processing bookings, maintaining room inventory, and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction through prompt and efficient service. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong customer service orientation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and online booking requests promptly and professionally.
- Process reservations through the property management system (PMS) accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date records of room availability and rates.
- Coordinate with the Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams for room allocation and rate management.
- Confirm reservations, send booking confirmations, and follow up on pending inquiries.
- Handle modifications, cancellations, and special requests from guests.
- Upsell rooms and hotel services to maximize revenue.
- Monitor daily arrivals and ensure special requests or VIP arrangements are communicated to the relevant departments.
- Maintain a high standard of guest communication and ensure personalized service.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports as required.
- Handle group bookings and liaise with travel agents and corporate clients for room allotments.
- Ensure all reservation policies and procedures are followed.
Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office.Proficiency in Property Management Systems (such as IDS, Opera, or Cloud PMS).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service and sales skills.Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.Job Types : Full-time, Permanent
