Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) , Learning Management System (LMS) development , and course design to strengthen digital learning initiatives at the UITTR Department, Chandigarh University. The role involves conceptualizing, developing, and managing online courses, creating engaging study materials, and ensuring seamless delivery on the LMS platform to enhance learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and manage MOOCs and LMS-based courses aligned with academic and institutional requirements.
- Create and upload digital content, study materials, assignments, and assessments on the LMS platform.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and faculty to structure interactive and engaging online learning modules.
- Ensure LMS administration , troubleshooting, and user support for faculty and students.
- Apply instructional design principles and emerging educational technologies to improve course delivery.
- Monitor learner progress, feedback, and performance analytics to enhance course effectiveness.
- Train faculty and staff on LMS usage, e-learning tools, and digital pedagogy.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in EdTech, MOOCs, and digital learning methodologies .
Required Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of LMS platforms (Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, or equivalent) .Hands-on experience in MOOC development and online course creation .Proficiency in instructional design, digital pedagogy, and e-learning content development tools .Ability to create multimedia learning materials (videos, presentations, quizzes, interactive modules).Good analytical, problem-solving, and technical support skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Education Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or relevant field .Certification in LMS administration, MOOC development, or instructional design preferred.Minimum 3–8 years of relevant experience in LMS management and e-learning course development.
