Job descriptionStrong expertise in Oracle Database Administration . Good understanding of Oracle Database Architecture (Good to have). Experience with databases such as MySQL, DB2, Microsoft Azure Database Infrastructure, PostgreSQL, MongoDB . Skilled in database backup and recovery processes. Experience optimizing data warehouses, data lakes, and other storage solutions. Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle DB servers . Knowledge of specialized data handling, data policies, procedures, standards, and capacity planning. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Leadership and team management capabilities. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset. Ability to work independently and take ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to user / client escalations and engage functional and management escalation as necessary.
- Manage requests and incidents using ITSM tools.
- Implement changes, perform testing, and hand over solutions to customers.
- Provide prompt handling of incidents, problems, and service requests to minimize service impact.
- Join a high-priority on-call support group and facilitate smooth transition into the role.
- Identify opportunities to improve database operations and overall service quality.
