THE ROLE
As Senior Accounts Executive at Hunger Inc., you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions. From managing accounts payable and receivable to ensuring timely tax filings and reconciliations, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the financial discipline that powers our restaurants.
This isn’t just about bookkeeping—it’s about strengthening the financial backbone of a hospitality group that’s redefining India’s dining scene. You’ll collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure that every number tells the right story.

WHO YOU ARE
2+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, particularly in TDS / TCS management, AR / AP, and reconciliations
Strong foundation in accounting principles backed by a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field
Proficient in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel
Meticulous, proactive, and highly organized with strong analytical ability
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working cross-functionally
A continuous improvement mindset—always looking for ways to streamline and automate processes
YOUR TEAM
You’ll work with :
Finance Manager (your direct reporting manager)
Finance and Operations teams across restaurants and the head office
Procurement and vendor management teams to ensure accuracy in payments and reconciliations
REPORTING TO
Finance Manager
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Accounting Operations : Manage daily accounting activities for AR and AP, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Invoice Management : Record and verify all vendor invoices (food, liquor, utilities, etc.), maintain ledgers, and resolve discrepancies.
Bank Reconciliation : Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements and ensure all cash collections are accurately tracked.
Tax Compliance & Audits : Support preparation and filing of TDS, GST, and VAT returns, process payments, and liaise with consultants for audits and statutory requirements.
Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for automation, improved accuracy, and efficiency in financial operations.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration : Partner with internal teams to align accounting processes with business goals.
Financial Analysis : Assist leadership with ad hoc financial reports and insights to support decision-making.
WHAT YOU BRING
Strong technical accounting skills with hands-on experience in Tally ERP
Excellent Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting
Understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy
A proactive approach with a passion for improving systems and processes
