We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and manage our company's sales operations for both domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of growing sales, managing diverse teams, and navigating complex market environments.
Responsibilities
- Sales strategy and planning : Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for both domestic and export markets.
- Market expansion : Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, potential markets, and customer needs, both locally and internationally.
- Team leadership : Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and motivation.
- Client relationship management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners in both domestic and international territories.
- Sales operations : Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation and contract negotiation to ensuring a smooth and efficient order fulfillment process.
- Export compliance : Ensure full compliance with all international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export documentation requirements.
- Budgeting and forecasting : Prepare and manage the sales budget, and provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
- Product and market analysis : Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform pricing, product development, and overall strategy.
- Cross-functional collaboration : Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, production, and logistics, to optimize business processes and achieve operational efficiency.
- Problem-solving : Handle and resolve escalated issues related to sales, shipments, or customer service.
Qualifications and skills
Education : Any Stream, Chemical Back groundExperience : Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in sales management, with significant experience in both domestic and international markets.Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.Market knowledge : Deep understanding of domestic market dynamics and knowledge of international market trends, trade regulations, and customs procedures.Leadership : Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.Communication : Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Analytical skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to track sales data, forecast trends, and make strategic decisions.Software proficiency : Experience with CRM software and a strong command of MS Office applications.Travel : Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.Language skills (optional but beneficial) : Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
