Job descriptionLeading in the development of economic strategies for regional / urban / industrial plans - using a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods. Conducting business cases, feasibility studies and economic impact assessments. Coordinating and liaising with other disciplines in project delivery. Ensuring compliance with all quality assurance / control requirements in line with internal processes. Contributing to project proposals and other business development activities as required. Travelling for Client meetings / workshops as needed. Strong first degree in relevant discipline (Economics, Urban and Regional Planning, Real Estate Development or similar). Post graduate qualification (MSc. or MBA) an advantage. At least 8 years of relevant consulting or project development experience Team player, strong communication skills, self-motivated, problem-solving skills, able to manage time and resources and work under tight timeframes. Communication : Good communication skills (verbal and written) Analytical Skills : Demonstrable qualitative and quantitative abilities to inform strongly evidenced recommendations and advice Technical Skills : Good technical capabilities and experience in providing professional economic advice across a range of projects Resource Management : Experience in managing time and resources to meet project deadlines within budget Management / Leadership : Demonstrable experience in leading teams in the delivery of projects While we carefully review all applications, only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
