About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Sales Engineer / Sales Manager to drive business growth for automation and packaging solutions. The ideal candidate combines technical understanding with strong relationship-building and commercial acumen, capable of developing new customers and closing high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities for industrial automation and packaging lines.
- Identify, qualify, and convert leads across target industries such as FMCG, Pharma, Automotive, and Food & Beverage .
- Collaborate with the design and technical teams to prepare customized automation proposals.
- Manage the complete sales cycle — from RFQ and quotation to negotiation and order closure .
- Work closely with project execution, procurement, and service teams to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat and referral business.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales revenue and margin targets.
- Regularly update the CRM with pipeline and activity reports.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven track record of closing capital equipment or automation projects worth ₹2–5 crore annually.Strong understanding of automation systems, robotics, packaging machinery, or related industrial solutions .Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical decision-makers.Self-motivated, disciplined, and driven to achieve measurable results.Integrity-driven with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.Willingness to travel across India (and internationally, if required).Core Competencies
