Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Gokarna for a Demi Chef De Partie. The Demi Chef De Partie will assist in food preparation and cooking, ensure high standards of food presentation and hygiene, and collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items. The Demi Chef De Partie's day-to-day tasks will include maintaining kitchen areas, monitoring stock and supplies, and ensuring the quality and consistency of dishes served.
Qualifications
Experience in food preparation and cooking, including culinary techniques
Skills in food presentation and maintaining high hygiene standards
Ability to collaborate with the kitchen team and develop new menu items
Experience in stock monitoring and kitchen area maintenance
Good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are a plus
Ability to adapt to a remote, off-grid island location is beneficial
