Production Manager

to lead our manufacturing operations at our Cuddalore site.

What we ask

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemical Technology or a related field

Minimum 10 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industry

Strong understanding of cGMP, ISO 9001 / 14001, HALAL, KOSHER, and EHS standards

Proven ability to lead production teams and drive operational excellence (OEE, yield, productivity, and cost efficiency)

Experience with SOP / WI / MBR documentation and compliance systems

Excellent collaboration and communication skills across departments (Maintenance, QC, QA, SCM, HR)

Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills

Lead daily production operations in line with DFE Pharma’s global quality and safety standards

Ensure compliance with cGMP, HALAL, KOSHER, IPEC, OSHA, and ISO 9001 / 14001 requirements

Develop and execute production plans to achieve operational targets (efficiency, yield, cost, and quality)

Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibility across the site

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Safety, Maintenance, QC, QA, SCM, HR, Administration) to ensure smooth operations

Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and energy-saving initiatives

Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure plant equipment reliability

Manage deviations, non-conformances, and corrective / preventive actions

Lead and develop production teams through training, performance feedback, and coaching

Conduct daily operations and shift handover meetings to ensure transparent communication and issue resolution
