Job Purpose

Associate Regional Counsel West

To support the regional RC in due diligence, execution and registration of leases, manage regional legal database (digitisation of leases, uploading on the portal, etc.). With the aim to establish a system for multiple level scrutiny, ARC is bestowed upon with the following tasks, including but not limited to : -

• To mentor JRC and review the works of JRCs;
• To hold discussions with external counsels pertaining to risks involved in a property;
• To vet all the documentation proposed to be filed before the concerned authority and courts;
• To hold discussions and form strategies with external counsels pertaining to ongoing and new litigation;
• To conduct risk rating of a property post review of due diligence report;

To prepare risk / deviation note; and

To prepare dashboard and trackers.

Job Context & Major Challenges

The role extends to entire region West for ABFRL business including all the subsidiary businesses of ABFRL.
