Key Responsibilities
o Establish and grow the Institutional Sales vertical from ground up.
o Identify new business opportunities and drive product penetration across institutional investors.
o Own P&L responsibility for the vertical and ensure YoY growth.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with Banks, NBFCs, Mutual Funds, Treasuries, Family Offices, Corporates, and Insurance Companies.
o Drive large-ticket investments in fixed income products (NCDs, ICDs, Bonds).
o Deepen engagement with existing institutional clients to increase wallet share.
o Originate and close debt placements and distribution deals with institutional investors.
o Work closely with product and structuring teams to offer tailor-made solutions.
o Stay updated on regulatory changes (SEBI, RBI, IRDAI guidelines) impacting fixed-income products.
o Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Product, Legal, Compliance, Operations) to ensure smooth deal closures.
o Mentor and scale a team of sales professionals over time as the vertical grows.
o Track competitor activity, market trends, and pricing benchmarks.
o Prepare and present MIS reports, deal pipelines, and portfolio updates to leadership.
