Overview : The Senior Director, Product Owner is responsible for establishing a deep product expertise balancing the technical, user personas, benefits, features and functionality, architecture, code base, and technical debt. This role reports directly to the SVP of Product Management will oversee all of the India based product team members for the Payer Solution division and will coordinate the Product Owners in the Product organization. The Sr Director, Product Owner will partner closely with cross-functional partners to bring cutting-edge products to market and communicate regularly with key stakeholders, including Payer Leadership team, customers, Product Managers, Engineering Teams, and Support Team. This person will collaborate closely with product owners, product managers, product analysts, scrum masters, and engineering teams to establish and monitor key metrics to drive implementation and adoption of Agile processes and tools which support product requirements, backlog grooming, sprint planning, program increment planning, and the delivery of high quality code according to the roadmap and release scope.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead India teams and coordinate the product owners across products in adoption and adherence to the Agile framework by role modeling Agile behaviors while building an inclusive team culture.
- Build strong relationships between product and development and actively manage and support talent development by leveraging internal and external tools and training.
- Drive strong collaboration across internal stakeholders including product, engineering, platform and support to ensure timely execution and delivery of our products to market.
- Define and drive best practices across product owners to achieve a level of consistency across requirements, prioritization, acceptance criteria and testing, backlog refinement, and release planning.
- Oversee the design, prioritization, and delivery of products through the software development lifecycle, from concept to testing, deployment, adoption and value realization
- Engage with stakeholders to inform product and feature design to drive perspective, requirements, and prioritization of the backlog in line with the product vision and while communicating expectations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of the US healthcare industry, product lifecycle, and software development to translate problems, needs, and opportunities into user stories.
- Display effective time management across complex and overlapping projects while supporting your team with schedule and priority management.
- Lead formally and informally teams responsible for planning, prioritizing, and maintaining product feature backlog and development across the product portfolio and ownership of product release planning, backlog prioritization, and ticket review through the elaboration of user stories.
- Excel in a matrixed management model where resources are shared and managed across leaders

Job Requirements :
Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in technology and software developmentMinimum five (5) years of experience in the US Healthcare IndustryMinimum three (3) years of experience with US Health Insurance Companies (“Payers”)Ability to attract, develop, and retain high-performing talent and expertise;Excellent written and oral presentation skills;Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred; andGreat organizational skills and ‘get things done’ attitude.Education :
Bachelor’s Degree required.
