Job Summary :
We are seeking a qualified legal professional with strong expertise in criminal litigation to join our legal team as an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Bar License and have hands-on experience in managing criminal cases, drafting legal documents, and representing clients or the organization in court proceedings.
️ Key Responsibilities :
- Assist senior legal counsel in handling criminal litigation matters including fraud, theft, cybercrime, and regulatory violations.
- Draft and review legal documents such as complaints, affidavits, petitions, and case summaries.
- Represent the organization in criminal proceedings before courts and law enforcement agencies.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, investigators, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies aligned with current laws and precedents.
- Maintain accurate records of case files, hearing dates, and legal correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to criminal law.
- Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on criminal risk exposure and mitigation.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree (LLM) preferred.Valid Bar License and enrollment with a recognized State Bar Council.3–6 years of experience in criminal litigation, either in a law firm or corporate legal team.Strong knowledge of IPC, CrPC, Evidence Act, and other relevant statutes.Excellent drafting, research, and advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.Preferred Skills :
Experience in white-collar crime, cybercrime, or financial fraud cases.Familiarity with digital evidence handling and forensic coordination.Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder and courtroom interactions.Multilingual capabilities are a plus.What We Offer :
