We are looking for a Finance Specialist to strengthen our financial operations and ensure robust accounting, reporting, and cash management processes as we scale.
Role Overview
The Finance Specialist will play a critical role in managing the company’s day-to-day financial operations. This includes overseeing accounting and bookkeeping, managing billing and payments, maintaining accurate customer and vendor data, monitoring cash flow, and supporting financial planning and reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Accounting & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with accounting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Billing & Receivables
Oversee client invoicing and ensure timely billing cycles.
Monitor accounts receivable and coordinate collections with customers.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Payments & Payables
Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and staff reimbursements accurately.
Manage accounts payable cycles and ensure timely payments.
Maintain vendor master data, contracts, and banking details securely.
Cash Planning & Treasury
Prepare daily and weekly cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity for business operations.
Monitor incoming and outgoing cash transactions, flagging variances proactively.
Support banking relationships and assist with fund transfers or FX management if applicable.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or operations (startup or tech environment preferred).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems (e.G., QuickBooks, Xero).
Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
