Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities :
- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards, Schedule VI, Income Tax Act, and other statutory requirements
- Manage and oversee payroll processes with operational accuracy
- Ensure compliance with client policies related to accounting, reporting, and internal controls
- Identify accounting, legal, or compliance-related issues and suggest actionable solutions
- Take full ownership of client deliverables, including TDS, GST, Profession Tax, MIS, and other regulatory filings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact
- Monitor client funds and ensure timely tracking and reporting of fund movements
- Perform end-to-end accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and finalization of accounts
- Independently conduct GL scrutiny and review of MIS reports for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with bankers, auditors, and internal departments for seamless execution of tasks
- Manage client billing and ensure timely recovery and follow-up on outstanding dues
Team Management Responsibilities :
Lead a team of 2–3 junior team members with daily task planning and work allocationReview team outputs to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to standardsMentor team members and assist in their professional developmentPersonal Profile / Competencies :
