Data Engineer - Python

Responsibilities :

• Developing / Supporting complex efforts involving Analysis, Design, Development, and testing of various application components within the Asset Management domain.
• Implements solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and comply with Nuveen's Architectural standards.
• Resolves complex application and technical problems.
• Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies.
• Provides mentoring and training to more junior staff.
• Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes.
• Investigate, analyse, and document reported defects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates that meet SDLC standards.
• Leads and develops complex architecture requirements analysis to convert end-user needs into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Delivers solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms and applications across the enterprise.
• Communicates the design of the technical architecture clearly to other leaders within the organisation.
• Designs the development and implementation of the overall architecture, and helps define a "blueprint" for technical architecture to support mission needs.
